My Dear father
I now take this opportunity to inform you of my health which is good at present this is my third letter to you but still no answer I wish you would send me that ten dollars I wrote you for because I am very much in need of it I hope you will write soon and let me know how the folks are getting along at home 

I am getting along finely here I have good times here but I would like to know whether you have any things I left my things at the place I was working last and I would like to know if you have got them if not I wish you
