[[image]] Swan and Edgar
fountain

2 level with fountain lifted to 2nd level & street level all traffic. Has been little published because as soon as anything is, there is such a protest that plan is stymied. Questions! How wide the pedes walks above? If too [[strikethrough]] big [[/strikethrough]] wide then unlighted below & street suffers; If too narrow they are merely walks not watching places. And to raise the fountain [[strikethrough]] means [[strikethrough]] where so many people now gather can mean almost total darkness below: a tunnel.
[[strikethrough]] Ended up [[/strikethrough]] Plan was first to demolish Swan & Edgar but decision to leave it based on goodness of bldg- not use. But Piccadilly is no longer a "main" street altho Aubrie's there, Simpsons & FM (they sell S&W peaches & Campbell's soup) & various other choice shops- but deteriorating.

Ended at coffee house at Shepherds Mkt- talked @ art apprec course at Cleveland State
