Dear Hassel:

I have read your correspondence with Pat and want to thank you for your generous response.

It occurs to me that when you move from Los Angeles to England for your teaching session, you might find it not too far out of your way to pause and have lunch with me in Baltimore. Its proximity to Washington might provide an excuse to visit that amazing center of un-culture and crypto-art.

Of course, I will understand if you do not have the time, but I confess to pleasure in the thought of hearing you recount some of the skirmishes and battles you must have engaged in since I last saw you.

All best wishes.

Sincerely yours,
Clyfford
