Dear Mrs. Parsons:

As I had feared Mr. Still was furious that I had not returned with the paintings you have of his.  He was especially displeased that some character by the name of Hogan had looked over them - which does not make the matter easier to deal with.

I would appreciate it if you could have them rolled up and mailed to me or to him at the school and I shall gladly pay for all charges involved.

I know that he respects your sincerity and your efforts to show his works.  He has also told me that you and Mrs. Mae Agy's galleries are the only ones in which he would even consider hanging his pictures; however, he is very concerned about which works are presented to the public and the manner of their presentation.
