CONDITIONS GOVERNING THE RECEIPT OF LOANS

Unless arrangements to extend the loan have been made by The American Federation of Arts, objects lent to it shall remain in its possession for the time specified on the face of this form, plus a reasonable time required for receiving or returning the work to the lender. Loans will be returned only to the owner or lender or his duly authorized agent or representative.
Under the terms of agreement we will exercise every possible care in the safekeeping of your loan while in our possession.
At the option of the lender; as indicated on the face of this form, The American Federation of Arts will insure objects lent to it under a fine arts policy against all risks in transit and while in its possession. If you wish to insure this material under you own policy, please ask your insurance company to furnish us with a certificate including The American Federation of Arts as Assured. If you wish to insure this material but cannot obtain a certificate naming The American Federation of Arts as Assured, we will not accept responsibility for claims made as a result of errors or deficiencies in information furnished to the lender's insurers, or lapses in insurance coverage or incomplete coverage.
