We are quite excited about the possibility of having a show here for Charles in 1968. I brought up the matter with Herbert Nipson, Editor of Ebony who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South Side Community Art Center. We will explore the possibility of a downtown gallery or of the Art Institute. However, it is our feeling that by that time, the Art Center will be all redecorated—and it would be a great moral [[morale]] boost for our people if such a show was held
