Enclosed are synopsis and shooting script for two reel, 35 mm., sound, motion picture on Greenbelt.

On Thursday, November 5th, 8:30 until 10:30 p.m., at the Washington Auditorium, 3rd floor, we are meeting to discuss the film and scenario. At the same time, we plan to show a few minutes of film taken as a sample in connection with this picture.

If it is the opinion of the Administrator that this sample work is satisfactory from a mechanical point of view, and he feels that it justifies our continuing further, we will then discuss the film and get criticisms and suggestions from those people most vitally interested in the Greenbelt project.

Since we feel the Administrator will go ahead with this project, we request you to go over the synopsis and script very carefully in advance of the meeting so that the matter can be discussed thoroughly and thrashed out at that time.

By giving you advance notice of this matter, we feel that everyone interested will have sufficient time to draw up his criticisms in advance of the meeting so that once the scenario is adopted we can go ahead without interruption toward the completion of the picture.

There are two principle reasons for making this film: (1) to present a documentation of Greenbelt; and (2) to present the housing problem in the United States, using Greenbelt as the vehicle.
