1936 - Frescos in Bedford Jr. High School, Westport, Conn.
- Appointed "Artist in Residence" at the University of Wisconsin through the Brittingham trust fund.
- Finished two murals for Norwalk High School - P.W.A. project. 

1937 - March. Completed two murals for the Department of Justice building in Washington "Westward Migration" and "Justice defeating Mob Violence")
- Elected to the National Academy of Design.
