Dear Mr. Reid:

Thank you for your immediate reply to my letter of last October.

We are planning our annual Negro History Week in February. The dates of the event are: February 7-14. The theme of the week this year is: African Civilization and Culture - A Worthy Historical Background. In keeping with the event, we are planning an Afro American Art Exhibit on our campus.

If you like to participate with our event, do send us one or two of your recent works with a resumé of your training experience, awards and any other pertinent information about yourself. We will pay for shipping cost and an insurance of $5-$10 covers some protection against damage. The works must be here on or before February 5. Can you let me know if you can participate with the exhibit?

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely yours,

Annie W. Harrison
