Dear Robert:

Please excuse the delay in letting you know what has happened since your show. To begin with, we held the show over for a month and it was reviewed in ART WEEK (copy enclosed). The response to the show was good, however there were only the three watercolor sales and the oil is still not firm.

Enclosed is our check for $300. to cover the watercolors. The one to Dr. Linden was $250. and the others $200. each. As we decided we would deduct $50. for the frames on the watercolors and split the remainder 40/60. If my figuring is not correct, please do let me know.

Last week we delivered Beach Rock and Figures on the Beach "H" to ADI in San Francisco. We also delivered watercolors #1, 6, 7, 8 and 9. We delivered the pieces to ADI framed, so there will be some book work involved here when the pieces are sold.

Your oil for Clair arrived and we are getting ready to frame it for him now. Will let you know what the cost is when it is delivered to Clair and either bill you or deduct it from the sale of your work.

In December we are doing a show at the local art museum and would like to show some of your pieces in that show. The pieces will be for sale at the museum and I think it is marvelous exposure for you (and us too). We hope we will have to write you for more for that show as we would like to sell the rest of yours before then. If this causes a time problem, do let us know.

We chose your watercolor #3 for us, and really do thank you so much, it is lovely. What a very thoughtful thing for you to do. Do take care and have a good year.

Fondly, Edna
