Dear Clair:

Thank you for your call last week. I wish I could really tell you how very sorry I am that the venture with ADI could not have turned out better, but I do want you to know I shall be eternally grateful to you for introducing me to California.

You asked me to send you a list of paintings to be sent to me; or at least to be gotten from ADI: There should be 6 paintings ( yours would made 7); 5 watercolors.

I sent out to ADI: 7 paintings and 9 watercolors: 3 were sold, and I gave one to Edna and Farley as a gift.

As for San Francisco: Here isa direct quote from a letter of Edna's dated 21 August 1974: "Last week we delivered Beach Rock and Figures on the Beach "H" to ADI in San Francisco. We also delivered watercolors # 1,6,7,8 and 9...We......"
All of these watercolors should be back in Campbell now. as to the oils, I do not know.

Clair, you can send the paintings anytime after June 11. Please send the REA air express, I sent them out that way and found it to be the best way for the money. Bill me for the cost(Not COD).

We spoke about the cost of the stretchers: The size of your apinting painting (50x50) (?) with framing should not cost over $50.00 retail. The , of course, get there supplies at cost. As a dealer, you are intitled to some sort of discount!!!

I am enclosing under separate sheet the bill for your painting, I hope it meets with your approval.

Be sweet, and take care of yourself.

P.S. please excuse my typing, spelling and everything!!!
