Miss Ruth Bronson
Room 202
Dupont Circle Building
1346 Connecticut Ave. N.W.
Washington, D.C.

Dear Miss Bronson:

I have been down here with the committee working on the program for the NCAI. We have arranged to have reports given to you as the program is being worked out, and I would suggest that you take it upon yourself to inform John C. Ranier as you get the information about the program.

Everything has been arranged according to the way that justice Johnson's letter requested, everything to be free except meals and lodging.

You wanted us to pay Mrs.Roe-Cloud's fare from out west, but we are not able to take care of this due to the fact that we will be under pretty heavy expense of adopting the governor into our tribe, and we have to get 50 or 60 Indians from about 300 miles from St. Paul and take care of them while they are here to put on this program,. the pow-wow. Is there anyway the National Congress of American Indians would be able to take care of both Mrs.Roe-Cloud and the lady from Wisconsin?

Very truly yours,

Ed M. Wilson, President
Minnesota Chippewa Tribe
