July 2, 1951

Hon. N. B. Johnson
Oklahoma State Supreme Court
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Dear Judge Johnson:

Mr. Savage and I have made one visit to Saint Paul to make the necessary local arrangements for the N.C.A.I. convention there on July 24-27. American Indians, Inc., an active Indian organization in the Twin Cities, has proffered their help at Bob Bennett's suggestion, and I think it well to take advantage of the offer because they are right on the ground and can do much of the leg-work for us. We should like to report on the arrangements we have made to date.

The Hotel Lowry will make their ballroom, which has a seating capacity of 2,000, available for the general sessions on July 24 to 27, for the get-acquainted dance on the night of July 24, ad the banquet and dance on the night of the 26th. Committee meeting rooms will be made available as follows:

Silver Room (seating capacity - 60) July 24, 25
Ramsey Room (seating capacity - 100) July 24, 25
Colonial Room (Seating capacity -50) July 24, 25, 26
Century Room (seating capacity - 50) July 24, 25, 26.

The banquet has been set tentatively for 7:00 p.m. on the night of the 26th. The following menus are available and the hotel would like to know as soon as possible which dinners are most likely to be desired.
