202 Dupont Circle Building 1346 Connecticut Ave., N.W. Washington 6, D. C. July 11, 1951 Dear Member: Am sending this air mail to you for your action in advising delegates to the St. Paul Convention. I have had the following wire from Ed. M. Wilson concerning the ceremony on July 23: Kindly notify all council secretaries who are members of NCAI to request delegates to bring their costumes to take part in the adoption of the Governor of Minnesota on July 23 in Minneapolis at the Armory. Mr. Wilson has been of invaluable help to us in making convention arrangements in St. Paul (as you know, he is president of the tribal executive committee of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe) and I hope we shall be able to participate fully in the ceremony he has planned. Although Mr. Wilson has not said so, I am certain arrangements will be made to transport delegates from the Lowry Hotel in St. Paul to the armory in Minneapolis for the ceremony. Will you see that this gets as much publicity as possible? We are having letters to all tribes and tribal groups and members of NCAI to the same effect mailed out Friday and Saturday. Sincerely, Ruth M. Bronson Executive Director [[note]] Send air mail -1. Geo. Pambrun Dolly Akers Reg Curry W. B. La Vatta Herbert John Thos.
