RESOLUTION   NCAY 1952 - 4

WHEREASE, the administration of Indian affairs has been a tragic failure for the past 127 years; and

WHEREAS, it is the sense of this convention that a complete re-examination of policy and regulations is way past due; and

WHEREAS; there now exist many regulations, policies and practices which are today outmoded and entirely unrealistic to the needs of many reservations in the United States,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the new administration of Indian affairs completely re-examine and bring up-to-date these outmoded regulations, policies and practices with particular emphasis on consultation with the individual tribe sin the formulation of new and realistic policies, regulations and practices.
