I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 17th inst enclosing your check. No 444 on the Asst Treasurer of the U.S. at N.Y for One hundred and ninety four dollars seventy cents ($194.70) payable to order of Aaron Jones late a Sergt in Co. "A." 2nd Regt. U.S.C. Cavalry, in payment of his claim against the U.S. for Arrears of Pay & Bounty. I will return Receipted Voucher for the same as soon as Jones calls for his money.

Essex Green late of Co "F." 2nd Regt U.S.C. Cavalry
These claims were prepared and forwarded by Aug. S. Seymour attorney at Law.
