I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of yours of the 11th inst enclosing the Discharge papers and Declarations for Arrears of Pay and Bounty of John Collins, Simon Collins and Edward Sears late of the 14th U.S.C.Inftry I respectfully return the Declarations of John Collins and Edward Sears. Two witnesses who write their names must witness all signatures by hand. Please have them corrected and returned.

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of yours of the 13th inst notifying me of the death of Henry Reddick Co C. 35th Regt U.S.C.T. - Henry Reddick late Corpl. Co C. 35th U.S.C.T. called at my Office this day and applied for his Bounty. he was identified by several men of the 35th but I will not pay him until I hear from you. There is something strange about his case.
