Major I have the honor to enclose the following drafts on the Freedmens Savings and Trust Co. at New Berne to pay the following Claimants as per vouchers enclosed. No 13. John Lyndsay Co "A" 35th U.S.C.T. $89.75 No. 7 Owen Sheppard Co "G" 35th U.S.C.T. 232.55 ________________________________________________ Total 322.30 Gen Balloch informed me on the 10th inst that the vouchers of James Monroe had been sent direct to Beaufort.
