Balloch C.D.O. with the information that I paid the Bounty of Alexander Brown Co D 36th Infty. on the 22nd day of Dec. 1869. to a man who was identified by Sgt. W. H. Burton and James Little both of the same Regt. I am satisfied that the money was paid to the right man. he was in the Office to day and states that he never made application for his Bounty at Norfolk Va. he resides in Pitt Co N.C.
