Above is the statement asked for
The cash receipts of this office for Feby, or rather the cash balance were forwarded to Mr. Carleton, U.S. Depository, but were not then received on deposits, for causes unnecessary to be explained here. The same difficulty attended the deposit of the receipts in March and April. The accounts were as I learn, finally settled in Washington.
