Inhabitant of - the City of New York aforesaid, and have never, during said rebellion, been in any portion or place, in any of the said rebellious states - am now, and always have been, a true and loyal citizen of said United States, and am one of the late firm of "L. Edgerton & Dunning" of the City of New York aforesaid, merchants; and am the owner of a brick warehouse and store in Chattanooga Tenn'ee obtained from A. G. Graham Trustee by his deed dated 22 November 1860, and duly recorded there, in the Register Office on 3rd day of December 1860 at 10 oclock A.M in Book N - pages 344 & 345 - and that I am, the identical grantee therein named. So help me God.
