This Indenture made and entered into this the 20th day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty between William Wood surviving administrator of James Wood deceased with the will annexed now of Bradley County Tennessee of the one part and Thomas Evans of Jefferson County Tennessee of the other part. Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand and sixty dollars to the said William Wood in hand paid by the said Thomas Evans the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said William Woods surviving administrator as aforesaid hath and by these presents doth bargain sell and convey to the said Thomas Evans his heirs and assigned forever in fee simple the following tracts of land to wit one tract lying and being in Jefferson County Tenn. containing two hundred acres more or less, beginning at a small white oak, Cleudemans's north west corner than with his line across the stony branch north sixty five west eighty poles to a stake near a pine, thence with his line in post crossing said branch north twenty five west, one hundred + thirty four poles to a poplar on a branch, thence west ninety poles to a hickory thence south seventy five west thirty poles to a white oak in Wood's line thence west the same south forty west fourteen poles to a maple, thence with said line south twenty two west ten poles to a hickory, thence with said south forty west eighteen poles to a white oak said James Wood deceased corner, thence south twenty five east one hundred and twenty poles to a post oak, thence north sixty four east eighteen poles to a hickory, thence south twenty five east seventy four poles to post oaks,
