He then gave us each of the $50 belonging to each $44. He then left us saying he had nothing more to do with us. He also received forty two dollars pay for each of us in advance. We do not know that we signed any other papers than the article. That the said Fowler has got our Power of Attorney and certificates for the bounty of one hundred and fifty dollars each we believe either as forged or in some other way and intends to cheat us out of the cash
