Dear Sirs:

In reply to a telephone communication from someone on your staff, and in general reply to a letter of November 21 from the National Society of Mural Painters relative to the Coordination Committee, I know nothing whatever, first, about some "committee of a hundred" Which I believe was mentioned over the phone, on which my name appears, nor have I received any letter from your committee with the name of the National Society of Mural Painters. 

If you would be kind enough to tell me what this is all about", I shall be very grateful.
