wait almost two hours - but it was awfully nice of them to do it - & helped a lot. Those little aids that are huge. Tom was camped at 8th St & couldn't drive me around. I began on Thurs. at about 3 to pack china etc- & had the piano taken out. - Palmer - the artist with the flute called & stayed about an hour - & the new tenant with his swell sister-in-law & brother called & the room was upside down - & the piano gone - leaving a heap of dirt in back of it!!! Then I went to dive at Eleanor T's- her nurse Aggie leaving - & the new nurse just come - the children had spent the day trying tricks on the new nurse. Their dog is a dear & he & I played- then to Sullivan St & I did my washing, so as to move clean - Slept at the boys - returned - moved my washing- crated with Yank my pictures- sent them off- packed the rest of china- food - linen
