Dear Ms. Kurzner:

In 1962 I did buy from Joseph Cornell three boxes. I no longer have photographs of them and cannot recall what they looked like. One of them went tothhe Cleveland Museum and cereainly not the place you inquire about.

The box which might be yours was Solar System with Driftwood (a title?), mixed media, 1958, 10 x 15". You give no date and no size so probaly this is not the piece. We sold it to Howard Lippman I believe, at least the card says Lippman. I certainly did not know Mrs. Sisler or David Hayes.
