A Picture from Hiawatha

The other day my friend and I went to a picture gallery, where there were a great many pictures which I admired. I was very much interested in one, which represented the departure of Hiawatha.

The sun had colored the clouds all with red, and the sky looked like a burning prairie.

On the water one long trail of splendor was left.

A beautiful large forest stretched itself along the border of the water,
