I imagine you must think us very charming sisters not to write to you before this and I think it about time to do so, we are glad you are enjoying yourself, we are having a very nice time here. Maud is here now and as you know M. & K.'s friend Miss Burch, yesterday, [[strikethrough]] we [[/strikethrough]] the celebrated twelvth was

spent very quietly in the morning as it was raining but no the afternoon Fritz took the others out raining in the evning we had some a wuderful[[?]] talking and as [[?Grecicie b Lohus?]] to the melody of Eads & Beans etc. you will have the words sent to you, it was great fun! and we laughed a great deal. We have been riding and as weather was not to favorable for sketching
