Mr. John Dickson, Managing Editor
The National Cyclopedia of American Biography,
70 Fifth Avenue, New York, N.Y.

Dear Mr. Dickson:

On the enclosed sheet you will note a correction of a date - Mrs. Whitney's Columbus Memorial was erected in 1929, not 1900.

The completed biography should include her last two and very important works which are also listed on the enclosed sheet. Many of her distinguished portrait sculptures, those of her brother, General Vanderbilt and of her children are not listed in you sketch. However, these can be omitted unless you wish to wait until January when all data concerning Mrs. Whitney will have been assembled in preparation for a Memorial Exhibition to be held here.

Yours very truly,

Secretary to Mrs. Force
