Dear Ms. Marcus:

Richard Doud referred your letter to me for reply. I am enclosing a brochure that will give you information about the CAP that was not published in The Torch.

We would very much like to have slides of the portraits that you have created of artists and other prominent individuals. Please tell us the subject, occupation, medium, dimensions and owner of each work. Since photography is the chosen medium for so many contemporary portraits, the CAP has a proportionally small number of examples of later twentieth century likenesses. We look forward with pleasure to adding your images to the Catalog of American Portraits.

Yours sincerely,
Diane H. Blumenthal
