was situated on the shore, and driving along a little further came to some bathing wagons drawn up on the beach.  Then returning to the Bristol dismissed the cab after an hours pleasure.  After walking around a little, we started back to see about boarding the boat with our luggage.  Having an hour left we sat down at the station to think about the picturesque people and little town, we had seen, with it's little toy houses and lovely trees.

The voyage to the quaint town of Folkstone was a speedy one and landed us in time to catch the train to London.

The road to London was through a pastoral country and pretty little towns, with rose covered cottages and gardens.  We arrived at Charing Cross Station in due time and through the excellent custom system, found our baggage easily and were soon on our way to find lodgings.  We were disappointed in two places, so decided to go to the Hotel Thackery opposite the British Museum and were comfortably settled for over Sunday.
