Father seems so anxious to get the boys engaged or married off and he makes all kinds of suggestions and promises but the rest of the boys never seem to do anything. He seems so pleased that I have picked out a piece of land in Bahnville near him and he refers to it very often. I suppose its only natural for a father to want his boys to get married. 

Holidays always seem to demoralize me and all day Wednesday I was so tired and sleepy I could hardly stand up. This morning I feel much better.

What a funny address and no wonder I didn't get it right away. I think at the time you wrote it you must have thinking of me and home at the same time and that is how you got it wrong.

I cant tell you now the exact date of my leaving for the South but at the present time I think it will be between the first and fifteenth of February sometime. Some many different
