Dearest Girl

I felt just like talking to you so I will do the next best thing; that is to write. It is an horrible nasty day today and all the beautiful snow is being melted by a steady rain. Yesterday afternoon I walked out as far as the golf club and found Henry Joon and some others already there. During the afternoon Vera and Maltby came and looked in through the window at us but they wouldn't come in. I think there might be something up between them.

I am going out to the Lake this afternoon to spend the night and am looking forward to it although it is so lonesome without you there.

I saw Tom Chadwick yesterday
