Darling Girl

It started to snow this morning about six thirty and now at about one o'clock we are having something quite like a blizzard, and already the snow is quite deep. All of which makes me very glad because as I have said before, I am waiting for the snow.

I am enjoying it so much out at the lake I have a room to sleep in and one to dress in which seems to me too luxurious but your kind mother rather insisted upon it so I gave in. Every morning Little Homer comes in and starts up the fire so it will be warm by the time I get up and when it is time I jump out of bed and almost land in the other room in the jump. Last night Homer and I sat in the kitchen and had a long talk about almost everything; we seem to get on very well together. When I go to bed there is always a nice fire in my room and altogether I enjoy it immensely.

Every night when I go out on the cars there seems to be a drunken man
