New York 22, New York

Dear Sidney:

Thank you for your letter of May 23rd confirming our telephone conversation. My apologies for our oversight in not listing your 1955 catalog 15 Years of Jackson Pollock. We had listed the exhibition among the one-man shows held at your gallery in another section of the catalog, but it should have been included by name under the catalog list and we are adding it now.

As for the change in lender's credit for Mrs. Pollock's loans to the exhibition, we have written to her asking for authorization. The present listings were established by her for the Sao Paulo IV BIENAL showing and for the catalogs for subsequent European showings, so this constitutes a change rather than a correction in the listings.

Unfortunately it is too late to make these changes in the Amsterdam catalog, and the catalog for the Hamburg showing has already been printed in collaboration with the Künsthalle of Basel. However, as soon as we get the listing authorization from Mrs. Pollock, we will take the necessary steps to insure its inclusion in those catalogs which are not yet in print.

With best regards.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Cable Senior
Associate Director
The International Program
