My Dear Crouch,
I may have trouble with my sister.  I am informed I have removed valuable property from my mothers estate, to wit, paintings &c - I think I handed you a paper I had my mother write, stating the pictures were mine & loaned to them, will you see if you have it-  Of course the sketches were mine, but if the lady can cause me any annoyance, she will do so.  I hardly think her lawyer will allow her to do anything so foolish, as through them I recently offered to take care of her - pay her board &c- but only in a place satisfactory to me & not in SS.NY.  I think she is crazy- Well I am here on my second attempt at a vacation
