Have received four most wonderful parcel tasks I hadn't had for years, the butter & oil are a god send it was so kind of you + I am very greatful, bless you. I have just heard that Gaudier Breska lived in my studio, so I'm in good company, And what time for an artists to be born into that is of my generation although I expect it has always difficult for the personal painter. Have been respected after at academy useless for anyone with personality to send there, but its the only place where one pays nothing so one always sends + hopes. T.S. got in. Your friend told me you were taking a holiday, do hope you enjoyed it + feel rested. Someone I know has not had a week in Paris + did the whole thing on $10 from door to door. She said they ate well + things are much better there than here. Louise has not written sinse she went back, but she never writes letters. Once felt very sorry for her, she has lost her grip on the meaning of life. For after all life has a deep + profound significance & as one grows older the layers of materialism should fall
