quite a snob, I think telephoned yesterday to say that she was going to give me a luncheon on the 15th if I would allow it. 

The result is I have had to get gowns, & I'll have to have a thousand dollars I guess, to see the wedding expenses & the bill for dresses through. Please tell Fahs I may want it & to prepare to get it. 

I will have about 75 or 100 at Marys house. It will be a beautiful wedding & a gay one for Champagne punch or Champagne itself will flow. dancing & a general good time. I am not sure yet whether we will go abroad. Dr. Halls wants to go but says he cannot leave for more than 2 mos. just now. Later he expects to go for 6 mos. or a year but whenever we go we want you to go too. We will decide when he comes. I will
