The Sky's The Limit

"The island, between Panay and Negros island is accessible only by motorized boats or sailboats with outriggers. A man of vision, Rev. Irabon is training his young men to be single-engine pilots and mechanics in the event that friends of the Fold might donate a light aircraft to the GSF. Land has been levelled, trees cut off and an air-strip is in the process of making, with technical assistance from the Civil Aeronautics Administration, and heavy equipment through the provincial governor's office." (Reprinted from THE MANILA DAILY BULLETIN, July 20, 1966)

Training at the Philippine Air Transport Service (PATS) and the Iloilo Flying School, with assistance from local pilots these three will pave the way for other GSF flyers.

PLAYDAY, a yearly affair, gives the students opportunities to express their artistic tendencies. With inexpensive costumes which they usually sew themselves, the students are demonstrating a group foreign folk dance.

Extra-curricular activities, such as this one, provide training in creative leadership and cooperation among team members.

Different classes engage in friendly competition for "best performance" group awards.
