I have been indeed fortunate in having been given the opportunity to advance in the offices where I have worked and in playing a significant role in the architecture of major and exciting projects all over the United States from frigid Minnesota to semi tropical and highly seismic California as well as in several foreign countries. The projects I have contributed to were large scale commercial office buildings and enclosed mall shopping centers, high rise multi family apartment and condominium buildings, hospitals, airport terminals, and hotels, - projects which incorporated highly technical and continuously changing state-of-the-art engineering and computer systems. -

When I first started in architecture I had no role models. Now I am happy that my work has not only been appreciated by my peers by that I am considered by universities across the United States to be positive role model for women and for African Americans in architecture. My advice has been "perseverance and not to ever give up."

Sincerely yours,
