Yale Journal of Architecture and Feminism Box 5892 Yale Station New Haven CT 06520 10 April 1993 Ms. Norma Sklarek, FAIA Gerde Partnership 913 Ocean Front Walk Venice, CA 90291 Dear Ms. Sklarek: The editors of the Yale Journal of Architecture and Feminism would like to bring you up to date on our progress. After researching recent publishing trends regarding architectural periodicals, we found it is preferable to publish our work-to-date as a collection of essays in the form of a soft-cover book. We believe. this format will lessen administrative and fundraising burdens while still enabling us to bring the discourse about feminism and architecture to the public. We have informed the authors of selected pieces of this change in format and are authors of selected pieces of this change in format and are solidifying commitments from authors currently working on pieces planned for future issues in order that they be included in this collection. Our current schedule calls for copyediting to begin in September. We would be delighted if you would consider contributing a piece to this collection. So far pieces range from one or two page essays to lengthier investigations and include essays, interviews and projects. Please contact us if you are working on, or would like to work on, a topic that might be appropriate for this publication. Feel free to contact me at (203) 782-1467. Thank you for your continued support. Sincerely, Carol J. Henderson Carol J. Henderson Advisory Board Diana Agrest Thomas H.
