118 EAST 57TH STREET
NEW YORK

Dear Miss McCousland

Very pleased to have read your letter. Yes, the paper office is quite exciting—as I have seen a few when I was young (1889)

It is a delight to me to mail one of my many books, "The
Art Performer". Only 12 numbers appeared. There was no
response in 1911. When you call I'm will present to you Vol. II. also a few of my poems. My prose novellette [[novelette]] met with a sad fate The Publisher failed after a year (1900) Therefore out of print. I have one left in my bookcase

Just now a writer came to interview me (Times NY) It's
lots of fun to tell him of my adventures & travels etc.

Well, I trust you will find some pages that interest you
and soon Au Revoir! here.
Talofa! (Samoan)
Sincerly
Louis M Eilshemius
