Dear Jane-
Many, many thanks for your letter and Louis' comments on [[??]]. He has said exactly what I would say and what others would say had they been lucky enough to know him. I will treasure these notes. 
In N.Y. you all must long for spring. Let's hope it won't be too long before it turns your corner.
