Dear Mr Castelli,
Thank you very much for your letter of March 11th. I am very sorry indeed that Barbara Rose cannot undertake the Penguin New Art volume on Robert Morris, but I quite understand. I am interested in your and Morris's suggestion of Annette Michelson, but before I can decide about this could you very kindly give me references to published writing by her, preferably on Morris and alternatively on related subjects. (I have looked through Artforum for the last two years and can find only a New York letter and a piece of Agnes Martin, both interesting). If these writings are in publications unlikely to be obtainable in London (where the selection of recent literature is all too patchy), one or two xeroxes would be very welcome; and I should also be grateful to have Annette Michelson's address.
with kind regards,
yours sincerely,
Richard Morphet
