on and on); then my sister's husband had a stroke. Then all autumn I've been having to go to work in earnest for Nelson Rockefeller who is out of politics and thinking up big tasks for everyone. Mine is a terrible task and I have been in despair about it. I already had more than enough to do with my other jobs (Please keep this quiet).  Then I think I am becoming accident-prone - had a beastly fall in the middle of the street by tripping over the shockingly uneven pavement. and today I think I have broken a toe - just before a three-day holiday with all doctors away!  Forgive this boring plaint. I long to know if you are both well. All my love.
