FROM GRANT WOOD 1142 EAST COURT STREET IOWA CITY IOWA October 11, 1937 Dear John, The catalogs of your show are darned fine. I certainly wish we were there to see it. I have sent one of the catalogs to Donnelleys and am certain that Kittredge will be keenly interested in it. It will probably be a while, however, before they will put on another show, owing to Tom's exhibition now in progress there. No doubt you have got one of the catalogs to Tom's show by this time. I am sure that it will be a great success and regret that I could't be there for the opening. Regards to you both from us all. Sincerely, Grant Wood We had a swell time in Madison, and hope we can get together with you soon again.
