I have the honor respectfully to report, that, pursuant to S.O. No. 131, bu. R.F.&A.L., Sept. 1st, 1868, as suspended Sept 3d, 1866, I have reported for assignment to duty to Bvt. Maj. Genl R.K. Scott, Ass't Comr.

I am assigned, or am to be assigned, as sub-ass't. com'r, to Greenville, S.C. in charge of the counties of Greenville & Pickens.

My object in forwarding this report thus prematurely is to request that my letters may be forwarded to the care of Maj. Genl Scott, without delay, if any have been sent to the H'd Qr's of the Bureau.
