Proceedings of a Military Commission convened at Beaufort S.C. by virtue of the following orders viz

HEADQUARTERS SECOND MILITARY DISTRICT,
CHARLESTON, S.C., January 24. 1868.

SPECIAL ORDERS, No. 21.
[Extract.]

II. A Military Commission is hereby appointed to assemble at Beaufort, S.C., at 10 o clock A.M., on Monday, the 27th instant, or as soon thereafter as practicable, for the trial of such persons as may be properly brought before it.

DETAIL FOR THE COMMISSION:

1. Brevet Colonel Henry B. Judd, Major U.S.A., (retired.)
2. Brevet Major J. McCleary, Captain 6th Infantry.
3. Brevet Major B. R. Perkins, Captain 12th Infantry.
4. First Lieutenant D. H. Murdock, 6th Infantry.
5. First Lieutenant R. W. Ross, 6th Infantry.
First Lieutenant G.W. Gile, 45th Infantry, Judge Advocate.
The Commission will sit without regards to hours.
