Since I hadn't done a bit of school work the entire week-end, I got up early this a.m.  To save myself daily toil, I now write a weekly plan complete with exercises, drills, and home assignments (as far as possible).  With these slow children who have never had too many experiences in original thinking, almost anything I bring to them aids in enriching their outlook.  I am insisting that in connection with a unit on travel they show some originality in the presentation of their reports.  I even arranged groups and have scoured the library for all available magazines and books.  The results, though the process of getting to this point is nerve-wracking, seem as if they will be satisfactory.  At least, they (the ones who want to try) are beginning to grow in
