Pasted on to original, a section of a letter Emily Genauer wrote to David. "Meanwhile, thanks a million for Miss Dehner's drawing. Its [[It's]] a beauty, and I quite agree with you that she paints rings around most of the abstractionists around town. Incidentally, the photos of your own things look very exciting."

Dont [[Don't]] worry Dorothy - you can get another show if this falls through. I'll work a little on Parsons or somebody.

Now I'll be in NY Sat & Sun and Mon morn maybe - what can I do on the gallery business. I dont think there is an Equity case. Any dealer can fold or sell despite promises - no contracts actually - what you could do on it can't get a show - that must be done by you. Ritter hasnt the cash to keep that layout I'm sure it was a loss - you cant [[can't]] hold him liable until he does something crooked.

I'll check for you when Im [[I'm]] down Saturday, when I take my scuplture [[sculpture]] and Gugge. records.

When you do show you'll have support read what Emily Genauer says about your little painting.

She (and husband Fredrick Gash) is buying one of mine (sculpture)

Write me what to do-

David
